Each of us has the power to reduce COVID-19’s negative impacts on our region’s businesses and communities. We have the power to choose local first.

Small businesses need our support right now in order to survive this difficult period so that they can continue to serve their communities after the crisis has passed — and into the future. They need all of us to make choosing local the new normal. 

To help the North Country Click Local, ANCA is gathering resources to help makers, retailers and service providers develop their online presence and improve their ability to capture online sales for immediate and long-term benefit.

Below, we provide ideas and tools for supporting and advancing the #ClickLocal movement in the Adirondack North Country:


Rad Dad Gift Package Collab. Contest:
A friendly contest among North Country businesses to develop creative, collaborative Father’s Day gift packages and encourage shoppers to #ClickLocal. Entries due by June 15, 2020. Early submission encouraged for maximum exposure. Learn more.

North Country small business e-commerce development support:

ANCA and Clarkson University, in partnership with the Center for Businesses in Transition, is providing support services to help small businesses up their online marketing game. Learn more about this exciting opportunity.

Adirondack Buyer Days online:

Following the cancelation of the 2020 Adirondack Buyer Days show, our staff are still committed to connecting the region’s artisan makers with new markets. The Adirondack Buyer Days online show catalog connects artisan vendors with wholesale buyers and the general public. 

Regional online marketplaces:

The Hub Online Market, pilot program offering North Country residents a one-stop-shop for local food and products
Shop Where I Live St. Lawrence County, online marketplace of St. Lawrence County businesses
