Antiracism 101: From antiracist actor to ally to accomplice, how do we get there?
On Monday, June 29, at 6:00 p.m., please join Nicky Hylton-Patterson, Director of the Adirondack Diversity Initiative, and a panel of Black activist-scholars from across the region as they continue their discussion on the Black experience in America. This is the second event in a series of Listen-ins & Teach-ins focused on activating, mobilizing, and engaging our community on issues of racial equity and transformational justice in America. The session will begin with a 25-minute presentation followed by a 30-minute Q&A session with expert panelists via chat.
Antiracism 101 is part of the Adirondack Diversity Initiative's Antiracism Campaign. Each session will provide language, tools, techniques, and most importantly strategies to identify, understand and build more racially just and equitable communities in the North Country.
