ANCA, in partnership with organizations across the region, will be hosting a free event titled “The Creative Economy: Re-imagining Our Rural Downtowns” on Tuesday, August 22 at the Harrietstown Town Hall in Saranac Lake, NY. Local Foods reception starts at 6:30 pm.  Program begins at 7:00 pm.

Philip Morris, chief executive officer of Proctors theater in Schenectady, NY, will engage the audience in a short presentation on his experiences revitalizing downtowns through creativity, imagination, innovation and entrepreneurship. The presentation will be followed by a roundtable of regional arts and cultural organizations and community leaders. The event is free and open to the public.
