"Local, fresh food is for everyone." We agree with Carly Summers of Cornell Cooperative Extension. CCE and The Hub on the Hill put their 2018 FarmShare Fund grant to good use by providing local food tastings and cooking demos for Essex County residents.
The 2019 mini grant program is now accepting applications for grant awards of $250 to $1,500. Farmers, nonprofits, schools, businesses and others working on projects related to local food access and food security the North Country region.
Proposals will be accepted until April 1st.
