The town of Keene held the "throwing the switch" event on March 28th to mark the beginning of solar generation for town facilities. Most of the $50k Clean Energy Communities (CEC) award was used for a solar array on the town garage. The Keene Clean Energy Team, a volunteer group of Keene residents, spearheaded much of the work.
