FarmShare Fund

The FarmShare Fund supports a vibrant regional food system that is healthy for our communities, our farms and our environment. Our goal is to encourage initiatives that promote our region's farms and their products while improving food security for low-income families.

Your donation will:

● Create direct connections between farms and consumers
● Help provide healthy local foods to low income households
● Support ANCA initiatives such as Farm to School, Food Hub Development and Agritourism
● Further local food efforts of ANCA's partners
● Support the 2018 FarmShare Fund Mini-Grant Program (see below)

Call for Proposals: 2018 FarmShare Fund Mini-Grant Program 

Learn more about this new mini-grant opportunity for local farmers, food entrepreneurs, nonprofits, government agencies, food banks and community groups working to improve local food access and food security in the North Country. 

Successful applicants will accomplish one or more of the following:                                             

● Create direct connections between farms and consumers                                                        
● Help provide CSA farm share subsidies for low-income households
● Support ANCA initiatives such as Farm to School, Food Hub Development and Agritourism
● Compliment existing food access programs
● Provide education opportunities for local foods to low-income residents
● Increase the quantity and/or variety of local foods available to low-income communities

Proposals are due Monday, July 23, 2018.
