North Country group helps retiring businesses find buyers

OLD FORGE — Erica Murray, who owns Old Forge Hardware at 104 Fulton St.,
said business in town has been going well for everyone lately.

She said there’s been an increase in new businesses, with a varied
demographic of owners.

“I see a couple of young people opening gift shops, but not as much as I’d
like to see,” she admitted. “But it’s hard — it’s expensive.”
