Ashley first visited the Adirondacks in 2007 when her then-boyfriend (now husband) brought her from their beach life in Wilmington, NC to visit his hometown of Saranac Lake. Although a bit cooler than she was used to, she instantly connected with the mountain lifestyle. The trip was short, but the days spent hiking and the nights camping under the stars on Lower Saranac made a big impression. After graduating from Cabbarus College in Charlotte, NC with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy, Ashley spent several years offering OT services to people of all ages, from early intervention with preschoolers to quality of life services with seniors.
In 2020, Ashley and Justin finally returned to the Adirondacks and embraced the adventure of raising four young children in Saranac Lake.
Ashley enjoys snowshoeing, gardening, camping on the lake, and listening to heavy rain with a hot cup of coffee.
