Nicole joined ANCA in 2024 as the Clean Energy Communications Coordinator, where she manages communications for the North Country Clean Energy Hub and NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Communities program for the North Country. She strives to make sure there is clear understanding about the variety of programs offered! Nicole grew up near the Southern Adirondack region of the park, and is dedicated to preserving the environment of the North Country. She attended SUNY Potsdam for her undergrad where she pursued interests in both Environmental Studies and English, later continuing her education to receive a Masters in Technical Science Writing. Over the years, she has worked with agencies like NYS DEC, taught communication strategies to community leaders, and even gathered community narratives to create a compelling dialogue to stakeholders about climate gentrification in certain regions of our country.
Outside of work, you can find her kayaking or fishing the lakes around the North Country with her two pups—Callie and Skye. Whenever she gets the chance, she tries to go camping in a new region in the northeast.
